Leaking underperforming grease trap replaced with automatic G.R.U Auto system. Busy Devon cafe installed a grease trap in 2018. The grease trap worked for around 2 weeks before leaks around the welds started to appear. Also, Wessex Water engineers noticed grease appearing in their recently jetted drains. Clearflow was requested to remove the leaking grease trap to install a GRU auto grease trap in its place. Having done so the results were obvious, the automatic grease trap removed over 2 litres of grease on its first day. This means the passive grease trap would have filled to its storage capacity of Fog’ (fats oils & grease) within a week.
